I am awake and here....

It's 11:33 PM here and that's way past my bedtime on a weekday. I had a good nap in the afternoon and I feel fresh right now.
My husband is also awake and in a business call at this late hour. Well, that is bound to happen when you work with people in different time zones across the globe.
I was totally away from cyberspace today. I had a long day at work substituting for two teachers who were on leave. So, I worked extra two hours. And then I needed to do some work on organizing my work space. It had become mess and needed some sorting. I also ordered some stationery and art supplies from Amazon today. They are expected to be here by Wednesday.
I have taken a leave tomorrow. The new rule in the school is quite friendly for teachers. Teachers are working more to get prepared for online classes and working on screen for hours is definitely more stressful than physical school. So we all can avail one day off every two weeks to relax and have some time to rejuvenate. This last one year has taken a toll on mental and emotional health of everyone. And most teachers are mothers too. They have to handle a lot and it becomes even more stressful when the whole family is working from home. The only thing is that we have to take turns for that leave and make sure that someone is there to fill in
I was busy till afternoon. I actually worked till 3 PM today instead of my regular 11:30 AM. I had one and half hour break from 11:30_1 to cook and have lunch. Then I organized my work table.
I had my monthly visitor visiting today in the afternoon. I felt tired and had a two hours nap in the afternoon. That helped me feel better.
I have nothing much to do in morning. No breakfast on plan. We will go with toast, butter and jam and everyone can manage that. Skipping my exercise too tomorrow. Maybe I will just do some relaxing breathing exercises.
So I can be here for a while and sleep till late in the morning

@arunima25 Sometimes when I nap I tell myself it's only for a little bit but it ends up turning into hours.

@lovebuglena It does not happen with me. Today I slept long as I was not keeping well. Else I will automatically wake up in 45 minutes or less.

I nap regularly for 20_45 minutes. That doesn't interfere with my sleep in the night. But today it was almost two hours.
Also husband working there in one corner of room is another reason. And I also know that I can stay asleep a little long in the morning
It's the psychological effect.

These breathing exercises called pranayam are really beneficial. I am very regular to yoga and Pranayam and meditation. I am managing my life without medicines though I have a few serious health issues. I give all the credit to these exercises and my disciplined diet. And most credit to these breathing exercises.

naps during the day can be tricky - you get some energy and then you can stay awake longer hah
i think that the new rule is a good idea

I take a regular nap of around 20_45 minutes every afternoon. Today I slept longer because I was not well. My regular naps don't interfere with my sleep in the night time.
