A man whose name was not released to the general public is grateful that some bystanders came to assist him from being rubbed out by a 6 subway train that was about 10 seconds from making a stop at the Union Square train station in New York City on Wednesday afternoon. It is known if the man who appeared to be in the 30 years of age range fell into the railroad tracks where the subway was coming by accident or if someone pushed him off of the subway platform. The good part is that one stranger who was an eyewitness to the accident jumped off of the platform to assist the man get off of the railroad tracks while other bystanders helped the wheelchair bound man get back on the platform before the 6 train arrived to the train station. After the wheelchair bound man was safe and sound on the subway platform with his wheelchair, he was taken by medical personnel to Bellevue Hospital with injuries that are not life threatening. This goes to show all of us that good people are willing to assist someone in need around our world these days.

i'm glad the person is okay and the ones who saved him are really brave. now i'm thinking how would it be if these train stations had a wall except where the doors of the train are...it would look bad.
