Are you like the ostrich?

That proverbial saying that ostriches bury their head in the sand and so are not aware of what's going on around them or think they are safe from predators. . That theory has been proved wrong but the saying is used just as I am now.
Are you like an ostrich thinking you are safe just because you do not know what's going on around you?. Or are you the alert kind like me?
Being too much alert may not be a comfortable feeling but better safe than sorry What say?

I am alert to what is going on around us.
We will not be safe till something is done about the thing that is bothering us and must have cameras in our home or something that they can see all I do. Something has to be done about this thing.

Why should anyone see what is going on in your home?CCTVs are meant for you to see what is going on around your area but not inside homes.

@Hannihar Fixing cameras to see what is going in other people's homes is illegal You can report. Can you not just pull those cameras down?

I have not figured out how this thing does see in but he continues to harrass us. He is a nasty sick piece of work that wants to destroy my life and do not ask why. I have no clue what I really did to him that is so bad. I was already living in the place and he came in and threw is weight around and I did not do what he wanted me to do so wanted to make my life all of it a msery and he is continuing to do it.

@allknowing yes it happens with us when the things in life get tough we don't find the ways to fight back so we succumb. There are people in the society who easily give which is not good.

@allknowing it is hard to explain I do not worry about that, You see I always have to keep my anxiety in check if I do not and it brings an attack I might not be able to function for a long while and then what good am I to myself,

@RasmaSandra I had that a couple of months ago and my doctor put me on a pill that did not work for me and now I am on a supplement and that has worked I too have an issue to deal with but I cannot just ignore it.

I'm the type who tries to stay alert at all times. I do, however know of several ostriches. Usually I don't spend too much time around them just in case disaster strikes.

I am not like an ostrich. I am aware of all the bad thing which is happening around me. But I focus on the positives and I do not allow the negatives to destroy my peace of mind.

Rightly said. I am an alert kind too. One can't afford to be like ostrich as there are always some people to hurt you or something
