It is hot up here on the 3rd floor!

It is 95 degrees F outside and we have an excessive heat warning so I have the windows closed and the air conditioning on and set to 76. That is as low as I will go after the infamous electric bill of August 2019. 
The AC has been cranking all day but the thermostat is still reading 80. I probably could get it lower if I draw down the blinds but I refuse to block out the light. I don't want to live in a dark cave. The apartment will cool back down overnight. For now I have my Dyson table top fan on and pointed at me so I'm comfortable. I think it will cool down tomorrow. I hope so!

Today it was cold here in spite of the sun. The clothes I washed did not get dry. I paid part of my holidays before the covid with the savings I made of gas heaters. Bills to heat or cool us are not my idea of heppiness.

You on the third floor and me on the second, I tell you the heat just rises and my apartment is constantly hot, I have fans going and the A/C in my workroom,

We had about 82degrees today, with a little breeze. Jay said tomorrow our temperature is suppose to drop down again. A roller coaster ride up and down, all summer long!

We live in a cave. The thermal drapes are shut tight against the hot sun; and it's much cooler inside. The AC can keep up with this awful heat. You should get some relief this weekend.

It's hot and humid here in Florida, too. Our house is nice and cool though thanks to stone construction.

At my previous job, we were on the third floor of our office building, which also happened to be the top floor. So the summer heat and sun baking down on the roof could make things uncomfortable really quickly. When the A/C was running, it would stay nice and cool, but as soon as the A/C would shut off (it would cycle on and off throughout the day), it would get sweltering within minutes.

sometime the temperature will exceed 95F here,that is ultra-hot weather.We can't survive without air-condition.but i usually set AC to 82.4F,it can save electric power plus expense of electric bill.
