I guess this will serve as my review for "A Cinderella Story: Starstruck"

I'm trying to remember these three movies I watched recently on Youtube. The first one I didn't like so much. The next two, I did like. I think I'll rewatch those two again and make a proper review post for each in the next few days. The first movie is called "A Cinderella Story: Starstruck". Among the three, this one was the most unrealistic for me. And that's saying something because the second movie is about a guy who loses his memory every single day (much like another movie called 50 First Dates with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, if I remember correctly). And the third movie is an animated movie that has magic in it. Anyway, this first movie was unrealistic for me because the story is about this girl who wants to be an actress/performer, who disguises herself as a boy and gets hired in this movie production alongside this newest big star... and no one finds out she's a girl? I mean, the way the characters talk, this was a big movie production supposedly, but no one minds her at all? Who's in charge of the costumes? She "comes to work" already wearing her costume...? Either that or they just decide there's no need for costumes in this movie production. They'll shoot you wearing whatever you have on when you came to work today. I've never been anywhere near a movie or tv show production in my life, but surely this is not how it works. Oh well. Maybe I just took it too seriously. This was probably supposed to be a comedy as well... Anyway, I was just in a "watch a movie" mood that day and this one caught my eye because the girl on the thumbnail looked familiar... It stars Bailee Madison, who was the little girl who played young Snow White on OUAT (Once Upon A Time). She's all grown up now. (The rest of the cast, I do not know. ) And uhm... that's it for my review. I really... don't care much for this movie. Have any of you seen it?

Hmm... I usually prefer to watch animated movies made for kids. I watched one called Luca a couple of weeks ago. It was really cute. I liked it. Why are you watching movies on YT? And do you read books?

@moirai b-ok.cc (free ebook site) You can get five free ebooks a day on this site or, if you give them your email address, you can download ten free ebooks a day. (I use the Kindle app. You can download the ebooks in the .mobi file and read it on the Kindle app.) Both of those sites work around the world and on multiple devices. I had to be sure you were interested before I'd bother offering you the free sites.

I like Cinderella. I think I watched the English version, the Italian version and the French version.

Ah! This one is not actually Cinderella. (Although, for the Cinderella movie you are referring to, I'm pretty sure I will only be able to understand the English version. ) This one is "a Cinderella story". There must be a ton of them out there, I expect. They just take the basic fundamentals of the Cinderella story and create a different (but similar, I guess) story. So here, the aspiring actress lives on her farm with her stepmom and two step siblings. The sister also auditions for the movie. The brother is more interested in becoming an agent (or something) for the big star of the movie. The big star (taking the place of the prince in the story) also came from humble roots before he was discovered and so was attracted to that girl he sometimes sees around the movie set (for reasons, they ended up losing their original shooting location and the stepmom offers that they shoot the movie on their farm). Little did he know, that girl was the exact same person as his new male co-star, local talent, who he was enjoying talking with, even though he disappears every now and then. ...

@asianlady Ah! I thought, perhaps, you also spoke Italian and French. I wonder if they did well in the subtitles (translation). I've seen movies with subtitles that are not so accurate.

Ahaha. Now, I'm trying to imagine what story they would come up with if they made "A Cinderella Story" featuring Spongebob.
