Yesterday (Thursday) was my day to take my Farmasi products to the Girl Boss store and tag everything and set up in the store. I spent 2 hours in the back adding my products to inventory and printing out price tags with the UPC codes for tagging everything. It was a slow process and I'm glad it won't be a daily thing, but then if it was it would mean I was selling a lot of products. That wouldn't be bad at all.
I took three small boxes of products which included foundations, pressed powder, primers, several different kinds of mascaras and eye liners, concealer, lip liners, liquid lipsticks, one skin care line, and a few odds and ends. It really worked out perfectly because everything fit just right. I didn't have any merchandise left with no place to put it as I had feared. The photo below shows how I set everything up.
When September gets here I will expand and take over the whole table and other shelving on the opposite side of the table. I can't wait!!

It's got to be a great feeling to have all that done and out of the way. One more step in the right direction to your successful venture!

I just wish I could have gotten everything in before the anniversary sale. We were in Biloxi then and I could have driven over for the afternoon but didn't find out about the sale until it was up to the minute. It will be okay!! The other representative did not keep stock--she had a dozen or less items when I toured the store. She also would not special order anything for customers when they requested it. I have already told the owners I would like to expand to the entire space there which covers a table and another rack area on opposite side!

i like the way you positioned everything! How many hours a month do you have to spend on this?

Each Vendor contributes 8 hours to helping run the store. I still have training to do since I haven't worked in retail since I was in high school! I am putting my time in on 4 hr. shifts for right now. I would never make it there on time in the mornings right now.

@DocAndersen Yep, not much for me. Didn't have many cash sales when I worked for the industrial safetywear company, then went to the State, then State/LSU.

@DaddyEvil Well today I'm sore all over and exhausted. With Fibro I have to maintain a steady level of activity and not go overboard. It's easy to do that when you want to do more. Taking it easy today. And tomorrow I am going to straighten up at the flea market.
