Have you travelled to Spain? If you have, what is your favorite city in Spain?

my brother is studying in spain so i went during the last days to Bilbao and San Sebastian ! I really liked San Sebastian, it is a great place for people who like surfing :-P

I've been to Barcelona, Madrid, and Toledo. I enjoyed all of the cities, but the sword-making factory in Toledo was definately the most memorable. Also, I love the Reigna de Sophia museum, which I think was in Madrid. Gorgeous country!

I have never been to mainland Spain but I would love to go to Barcelona. I'm planning to go some time this year if funds permit! I've been to all the Balearic islands. My favourite is Formentera because it is quieter and not quite as commercialised as the others. I've also been to two Canary Islands, Tenerife and Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura is more scenic but the beaches are very windy. Tenerfie is good for duty-free shopping.

I went to Marbella 3 years ago in my Summer vacations. Loved it! Made great friends there.

Madrid, because it was home for so many years. Toledo and Segovia, because they are both beautiful and artistically and historically important, each for its own reasons. Ronda, a town, not a city, for its breathtaking landscape and wonderful people. Malaga, for the good memories and dear people. Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba, for grand architecture, history, cuisine and romanticism. Granada! What a romantic tale I could tell! And the music and dancing. Burgos, for the tales it tells, and the cathedral. Santiago de Compostela, beauty and center of faith. I love all Spain!

I went to Spain twenty years ago with three friends of mine. It was a good travel, but nothing special, I don't like Spain very much, but we had fun, we were so young.... We went to Barcelona and to Valencia. I liked both, they are both towns full of history, art, and the typical Spain kitchen is very interesting.

Yes, I've been to Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Malaga, Costa del Sol, Sevilla. I love Spain. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I studied in Spain for almost 6 months back in 1999 and then went back there on vacation in 2005. I have been to many cities including Sevilla (where I lived and studied), Cadiz, Malaga, Marbella, Cordoba, Toledo, Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Jerez de la Frontera, ... My favorite is Sevilla. I would say my second favorite is San Sebastian. All the cities are so different from eachother. I guess it really depends on your mood and what kind of vacation you are looking for. Rachel
