Short story: Was this spiritual master a real master, or not?

Sri Rostes Rosseta, was an acclaimed spiritual master, and guru, to the masses.
He had made a name for himself, with his erudite seminars, where he would channel spiritual teachings, from a higher being in another higher world, called Jasper.
Jasper explained that he was (as channelled through Rostes):
"A type of spirit guide, who can send you energy, which is then converted into words by your brain."
"Now, we receive the holy spirit, when we allow our self to feel loved by God."
"This love connects you to the energy of love that brings its energy to you in the form of love."
"I am a spirit being called Jasper, assigned to help Rostes look after Rostes's part of the living love, that has been set up for him to create with."
"Every soul has a part of love at their disposal to fulfil their own creative mission with, or from. This love is not missing from love, but merely being directed through you as you connect to it through God."
"Love is infinite, and its energy always frees you from the sins that essentially reside in you, only from your lack of love. Love fully, and there can be no more sin residing in you then."
"The best way for you to serve God, is for you to serve him in yourself, by being yourself within God."
"The only way to accomplish this is to allow the emptiness of fullness to spill over you as love. When you only love, love becomes you, serving God, with all of who you are."
Just then, a heckler, from up in the back corner, stood up, and blurted out a question:
"Why am I so angry, and upset with my life, and life in general?"
"What can I do about it all?"
Jasper took it in his stride, and replied:
"You must risk looking a fool to grow past the wisdom of not knowing, as you will find that not knowing, makes you angry, because knowing takes initially a state of unknowing to grow itself from."
"Wisdom exists at all levels, but must be home-grown to be real for you, in you."
Sri Rostes, is a spiritual master if he grows from himself, in himself, but to only shed beans, funnelled through him, from a hidden bean stork, maybe he is more just a tuning fork.
During the channelling, Rostes's dog, Harper, always slept on the floor, at Rostes's feet, and looked up wistfully at his master.
Where did his master go when he was channelling someone else?
Harper only knew that this energy in Rostes now, was not Rostes, but something else again. It spooked him out, and it saddened him, whenever Rostes did this.
Rostes never knew that what he did was upsetting to his dog.
Maybe, if he had had a heart, and knew this, he might have left his dog at home, on these channelling nights of his.

A saddened face indeed!

Dogs struggle with the concept of object permanence. but they also see beyond the essence of a person, in the end I wonder if the past would be right as choosen.

Yes, sometimes, I feel the same way, and instead of trying to force life to unfold for us, we should just let it unfold in its own way, time, and place too.
"You look at the movie and you see all kinds of dastardly things going on. But then you catch yourself and you say, "It's only a movie! It's not the truth." And so it is with life. You observe everything that's going on in life, you watch, you look, you see. Yet you never react. You're never for or against. You understand, and this makes you free."
From Robert Adams, Silence Of The Heart.
He would agree with you too. Life is right as chosen, and right as it chooses us too.
Life is just right, always right, how could it not be, with God behind its helms, steering it from behind the scenes, its ultimate director.?

@innertalks to let life flow around us, that is the dream, why do we struggle so against the flow?

@DocAndersen Well, the flow can be overwhelmingly strong sometimes, and we do not think that we can handle it as yet.
We just want to slow down, and puddle our feet, in the shallow waters of life, for a while, instead.

The dog could feel the change in his master - not being himself during channeling times.
Likewise, people can also read our minds when our words do not connect with our hearts.
I feel there is always channeling involved in how we behave and the prompts in our minds are a result of them.
When we have good intentions we can tune to the right channel. However, we get carried away and the connection gets distorted leading to misery and disconnects with love.
There are a few, like this spiritual master, who claim mysterious connections that cannot be verified and people will realize their folly too late. Then it boils down to misplaced trust.

That's well said, siva.
Yes, people, and animals know when we are dusting them with mind fluff, and not connecting to them directly through the love in our hearts.
I think that even in our nightly dreams, we could be channelling information into ourselves too.
There are some well-known cases of channelling though, which are well worth the reading of what they are channelling.
One of the first, and best of these was Jane Roberts, who channelled a higher being called Seth.
Many copied her after that.
Another was Emmanuel, which I also liked what the channel was saying.
Truth is truth, wherever it comes from, and so if truth comes through in this unlikely way, sometimes, I guess, we can still listen to it with the right discernment attached, so we don't spend too much time to mine for the truth, amongst too much other fools gold, as well.

@Shiva49 If something rings true with me, I usually put value to it then too.
Here is an Emmanuel Quote:
“Your mind cannot possibly understand God. Your heart already knows.”

@innertalks Thanks Steve, we need discernment rather than blind faith.
We do get shortcuts through such acclaimed paths and they are well worth a try.
There are layers within layers for us to penetrate to get to the bottom of the truth.
The very process of trying to get to it makes our lives meaningful.
As for myself, I keep my mind wide open and listen and some remain with me.
