How long has it been the world, through news reportage, put blame on the withdrawal of the United States for the aggressive take over of Afghanistan by the terrorist cult known as the Taliban - many days now. The subsequent unsolicited criticism from insolent political leaders are uncalled for. The advisable way is to 'keep the mouth shut' and lessen the noise that could aggravate an already chaotic situation in Afghanistan. If we assess the news we see, the Taliban is rejoicing as if it won the war. No, it did not. The US and NATO allies withdrew their troops. Why? Because Afghanistan should be a country that must stand on its own. The Taliban is a terrorist cult that sows violence. The statement that it will 'govern' is contradictory to brutal way of killing. Ergo, the Taliban remains to be eliminated. That's the bad news. The good news is... Afghans are marching down the streets parading the longest Afghan flag there ever is.... The people are fighting back. Twenty years of education from the NATO allies has brought men and women to their senses that if ever they want Afghanistan to be, they and they alone have to stand up and fight for it. The Taliban? From this juncture on, those bearded men are right on sight. Easy targets! At this very moment, there is already a resistance that could very well crash the Taliban. We stand and watch. No popcorn. This is a serious story. We pray. We pray that this man consolidates his people and regain Afghanistan again.
Afghanistan's Vice President Amrullah Saleh has stayed behind & is building an anti-Taliban resistance in Panjshir Valley. This is a region the Taliban has n...

@franxav He will have it. The Brits are expressing misgivings in the House of Commons. They have also sacrificed lives to help this nation from the clutches of a violent cultist group. Such radical bearded men have no place in the accepted norm of international decorum.

I hope they can stand against the well-armed Taliban terrorist since they would not really think twice to kill whoever goes against them. These people are just too brutal that they would never hear reason at all.

@eileenleyva Its something that is hardliners that needed to confront these people. Although there have been efforts from them to show that they will not be harsh on their people this time and they have said they are not linked to Al-Qaeda anymore but we cannot say for sure how true is this.

@rsa101 The terrorists believes that violence is the way to deal with people, especially women who cannot speak nor express themselves in any way at all. No guiding principle at all in terrorism. It's just terror.

Thanks for writing this. I agree 100% that the USA has done all it could. Time to let other countries step up to the plate - a baseball term.

Admiring America for selflessly coming to the aid of the Afghans. The Taliban is dark force no country would wish to have as an enemy of the people. The Afghans are in a dangerously precarious position right now and need all the help and moral support.

Well the Taliban have already announced who their President will be ... It would be difficult for Amarullah Saleh as he is the lone guy trying his best.... But I don't think he could make it

@S4mmyboy That is the sad reality. Casualties of a revolution are always unavoidable. Sacrifices include precious lives. That is why we must pray. Not only for Afghanistan but also for Myanmar.

Hope the people of Afghanistan can be saved to live a miserable life. These Taliban won't let them live a happy life.

The Afghans need our prayers for them to be able to gather enough courage and strength to stand up and fight for their freedom and rights from the Talibans.
