My admiration goes to the firefighters in Cobb County Georgia for their superb effort of going to rescue 27 children and four adults on Thursday evening in a daycare center in Austell Georgia.
The area where the daycare center is located was affected by flooding that happened during a thunderstorm that hit the area.
The children and the adults are safe and sound thanks to the awesome work by the firefighters who answered the call for help by the adults working at the daycare center that day.

I agree with you since when tropical storms hit an area, flooding is the worst scenario that happens.

@Deepizzaguy And it happens so quickly and with such devastating results. We know often that the storms are coming the the actual strength cannot always be forecast accurately..

@Deepizzaguy we think of soldiers experiencing traumatic situations but forget that terrible things occur close to home as well and it is the firemen who are often first at the site. Often facing scenes of accidents and danger not only to those who are invovled but to those who have to rescue them.

Firefighters are real life heroes. I agree with you that the children must have scared during the storm and floods in their area.

We have much to admire firefighters for and it is becoming more obvious every day how much we need the brave men who enlist to fight flood and fire.
