I did not like some noises at Dixie´s apartment.

While I was not afraid of being in the 3rd floor (I´m afraid of earthquakes), they had some neighbors upstairs who had a child that was constantly running. Dixie told me that the girld had ADHD and could not be made to be held in one place. I thought that those parents (well to do as that apartment is very expensive) should have bought or rented a house instead. I have noticed that more children have those disorders now. I blame it in the lack of playgrounds and the sedentary life they have now

I know what you mean that the children need to spend time in playgrounds since it does them some good to get some exercise.

Even with dogs, you know that they need some exercise. I don´t daare take out my dog for a walk but I make her run a lot in the garden.

I agree that they should not be living upstairs from someone.

I agree that those parents should rent a first floor or an individual house, they cannot impose those noises to other people renting.

It needs a lot of patience if one is dealing with kids with adhd. we have students like that. And i know it is pretty annoying if one is not used to it.
