Black rice 'idlis'

Being a foodie, I got interested reading about black rice and got a kilo of it . I prepared porridge and have written a post about it.
This morning we had idlis for breakfast made from black rice. The procedure is the same as we use for making the usual idlis.
The colour is dark as though jaggery is added. But it is the black rice that has given that colour

They are not that tasty but I eat them because they have nutrients.
