This morning is a bright, beautiful, hot, humid, and dry morning, so far. I am watching for birds and squirrels out of my back room window and - I am not spotting any. What I am seeing is a gathering of dark, angry clouds. I guess the birds and squirrels have already gone into their 'safe place', Fortunately for us, we have our 'safe place' inside an airconditioned house where everything we need is inside with us. I often wonder just where the animals 'safe places are'. At least we can carry on doing what we need to do inside and dry. How lucky we are to be able to be sheltered from the rain, winds, lightening, and thunder (to a certain extent). Hope everyone out there is safe, happy, and secure.

We seem to be having a bit of rain every day. I look forward to the cold dry weather.

I hope the weather doesn’t get too bad and that the animals find shelter.

I always do wonder about the animals and their safety during a storm.

I do wonder where the animals go when there's a storm. Guess they hunker down just like we do but without the luxury of being indoors. Hope those storm clouds don't bring you a lot of trouble.

I image they do hunker down. Hopefully some of them are in a dry spot.

Amen to that. I don't know what we'd do without air conditioning!

Neither do I. I wonder how we did without it years ago.

Stay safe. No rain here, only heat and humidity. I hope the best for the animals.

My Wednesday was spent in bed as i was too sick. Thursday morning here now and i am feeling much better than yesterday. And yes you are right. We are lucky to have a shelter to protect us from the harshness of nature.

Ooh, those are some ugly clouds. Especially with the green hue, “they” say that’s indicative of a tornado or monster hail. Hope you have a quiet, safe day.

We are fine. They skies look angry here whenever it is threatening to storm.

We are sitting here in the air conditioning. Thank goodness we don't have to run between the raindrops to stay dry.
