Hey there, everyone. It’s Friday afternoon on my end, and I felt like popping in for a post. I want to thank everyone for their support and kindness regarding the passing of my Mother. I really do appreciate it. There are going to be times when I talk about it, and then times when I post about other stuff. Right now, I’m just posting about my plans for today and this weekend. Earlier, I joined the Little Guy and his Grandpa for the “Meet Your Teachers” event, which didn’t last long at all. I cannot believe the Little Guy is going to be in the third grade. Actually, he and one of my nieces are starting the third grade, and my niece here as well as two of her cousins are starting the sixth grade (niece here is homeschooled). Where did the time go?! I just finished two writing orders, which is the most I’ve done since my Mom went to the hospital two weeks ago. I have two more I want to work on, but I’m not going to have time, so I’ll work on them later. My younger sister and I are going to the gym for a bit, and then I assume I’m coming right home (but I don’t know that for sure), and then I’m planning to work, clean a little and shower. We’ll see if the working and cleaning happens this evening, but I’d like to make those things happen. I’m running to York, PA with my best friend tomorrow to pick up her bridesmaid dress. I like going out there. It’s a mini-road trip and there’s a big Five Below on the same block as the dress shop. I may see if she wants to stop by a Spirit Halloween if we can find one. They open tonight and my family (best friend included) love Halloween and fall stuff lol. I don’t think I’m going anywhere on Sunday. Momma’s services are on Monday, so I have no idea if any out-of-town relatives are going to stop by the day before, plus I need to get ready (including mentally preparing) for Monday myself. *Sigh* One of my best friends -who my family loves- is coming in from PA, and a bunch of us are going out to eat afterward (rather than hosting anything at a sibling’s house, what with Covid and the fact that this is a very emotional time for us). My nieces’ work is holding a company picnic at a public park on Tuesday, and I’ve been told by my sister I’m going with them lol. I think they just want us all to get out and have a little fun, considering Monday is going to suck. And that’s it. I’m going to post this and start on this order, or at least get some outlines done, before I get ready for the gym. You all stay safe and take care, and I’ll probably be around sporadically for a bit. Photo Credit: Pixabay.

Sounds like a busy couple days ahead, sounds like a fun mini road trip too - hope you can find a Spirit Halloween. I hope everything else goes well, well you know the best that it can at least

We never made it to a Spirit Halloween, but the season is still young. And thank you so much.

@MommyOfEli2013 I went yesterday. They didn't have a lot of things out yet, so I'm going to check back. I want to get my niece a "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" cup for her bday, and something of Hocus Pocus for myself haha.

So sorry you're having a hard time with your mom passing, I know how it is. Way back in 1996 when my mom passed on there were times I thought to myself it will all be all right I will just go home and talk to my mom, Talk to who? But I talked to her anyway and our moms are watching over us and will always be around. You too stay safe and have a good weekend,

Thank you so much. I'm so sorry you've been through it. It's not fair. :( I wanted to text my Mom about something wrestling-related last weekend, and then remembered I couldn't. :( I "talk" to my Mom as well, and write on her Facebook wall (same with my Dad). It helps me to cope with it. You're right, our Moms are always watching over us. I hope you have a good week.
