Hello dear mylotters. It's about 8 am here. I woke up at 6 am. Could not go for a walk since I have to go veggie shopping this morning with mother. So, I decided to have breakfast and check the mylot notifications. I managed to reply to about half of them. Now, I will study and before that, post an activity.
Do you guys use a mosquito net when you go to sleep at night? In India, most people use it. I also use a blue one.
If you use, then what color is it?

I live in a place where there are few mosquitos.
I grew up in a place where they were awful at times but didn't get in the house very often. We had screens on all the doors and windows.
When they would get in, I'd let them land on me on purpose so I could kill them and be done with it.
Can you still hear them buzzing around outside your netting?

@MALUSE It may be night when we go to sleep....but when we wake up it's morning. And the first thing we see is the mosquito net.
Besides, I wanted to know which color they would like.
And, I didn't considered mosquito's feelings if it's important for them or not.

I can understand. If they ever stay overnight with the family friends, I myself skip the process. Just repellent and cooler.

Don't need them in Scotland unless over on the west coast or up in the Highlands.
It's an insect called Midge that bothers us.

Oh thanks for telling. We also use liquid repellent but not enough in summers. But in winters, we don't use nets either.

@zhangxueying Oh that's great. I am in east India...and there are many mosquitoes here since it's the gangetic plains area geographically and also bc of tropical climate.

We used it while we were growing up especially when we would sleep outside in summers when there was a power cut. Now, I have nets on all windows and French sliding doors. We do not need them anymore. But I still have one in suitcase up in loft and it is light blue with dark blue and pink floral prints on it.

@Anqaya It is still common in Bangalore especially when there is rain and thunder. And we often get them. We have a backup in the apartment and most of our things including our fridge works on that power backup. So we do not realize that the power is gone.
