Tom cats do not stick around. They just disappear in search of their partners. Same happened with our Lolly.
He was the most adventerous. Here you see him balancing on the wicker goblet that adorns our hall.
He woud also climb trees and from there jump to the terrace. Am used to cats leaving us

There is not a spot where he has not climbed and his favourite resting place was always the niche in the ventilators. (lol)

All the cats that we have had belonged to one mother She would litter somewhere and get us one kitten at a time over period of time We care for them and yes they leave us. We now have only two.
