Good day to you all, Just got home, ended up working about 45 minutes late today and more than likely will be working a little late all this week. Pretty busy week at work so getting in a little extra time. I’m sure I can find something to do with the extra money. Not a bad day weather wise. with a high of 80 and not to humid. It has been mostly cloudy so not sun beating down making it hotter. I’m glad that it is finally colling down a little. Not sure how long this might last but I will take it for sure. Just read they are saying that in 2033 the government will not be able to pay full benefits for Social Security. Great, I been paying in all these years, and I won’t get my full benefits from it? I’m not sure of the details but that does not sound good to me.

As the crisis draws closer to reality, the American people will have a lot to say about Social Security, and will demand a fix to it. Any inaction on the part of Congress, and every one of those bums will be voted out of office. And they know it. They're just going to wait until their backs are against the wall, and then come up with a fix for it. Of course, it will drive us even more in debt, but they'll somehow keep it going.

@Bensen32 Yeah, but think about it for a second. Who are the stupid half of the country? The retirees that depend on social security, or the young people that think socialism, defunding the police, and forgiving everyone's student debt is a good idea? I think when it comes to social security, the smart half of this country are going to be the ones demanding change.

Well maybe, but then again you would think some of the crap they do now people would make a stink about and seems half the country is to stupid to figure it out.

They have been saying that for years, I doubt that's true. But, it could be based on how Biden's been running the country and giving away money like it was going out of style.

That is one of the many issues they are talking about but I can see it being an issue down the line.

@Bensen32 It's always been an issue. A shame too, since so many americans live off of it (myself included)

That sounds very depressing about SS. But not too surprising. We have had rain and hope to be a little less humid.
