Stan Hays who is the co-founder of Operation Barbecue Relief that began his charity work ten years ago after a tornado struck Joplin Missouri.
Hays and his partner whose name was not mentioned will be traveling to the Gulf Coast region soon to lend a helping hand to the hurricane victims who are in extreme pain and suffering after Hurricane Ida struck the area on Sunday in south Louisiana.
Stan's group will be serving pulled pork sandwiches to the first responders and hurricane victims who need some food to uplift their spirits.
My best guess is that the charity receives their meals from donations from the public so they can serve sandwiches to persons who need a meal after every disaster that his hit our nation.
I wish the employees of Operation Barbecue Relief the best in their mission to feed the persons affected by the hurricane since their work will be blessed in the future from the Lord Himself.

I wish them the best. Disasters can be a real pain. I know that I've had my fair share.

I have been through a few hurricanes myself. The charities that came to my neighborhood did some awesome work assisting my relatives through the tough times.

@Deepizzaguy I know they do. My husband and I have been lucky, but I know others who've lost their homes and everything.

Hope you survived Ida OK. That's a really good gesture on Stan's part to feed the first responders and hurricane victims.

Thank goodness my relatives did not receive any serious damage from the storm since it was warm and light wind.

I agree with you since natural disasters bring out the best in a lot of us.

I was planning on going to see my aunt and uncle yesterday but it was raining too hard and I turned around. On the way, though, I saw a small convoy of swift water rescue boats from fire departments from Ohio heading south.
It’s so good to see people helping out!

That is true since my relatives and myself went through Hurricanes Laura and Delta last year and seeing the charities help was a welcome sight.
