I haven’t been to my hair stylist for more than a year. Two years come February 2022.
And during the weekend party, my sisters and sister-in-law-law told me how terrible i look in long hair. Yes, they’re honest that way. I really appreciate their honesty.
I don’t want to go the salon. Maybe I’m too lazy or probably I’m just a bit scared to go there. But i have been contemplating on really cutting my hair short but not as short as the one in the photo.
Probably I’ll do it next week. Or next month. Well, a new haircut in September might be good for me.

I have to book an appointment but I must find a replacement for my stylist. And the staff in the salons have all been vaccinated.

Right. Our city government made sure all establishments involving services like this should have all their employees vaccinated. @LadyDuck

That’s wonderful. My stylist is actually Filipino Taiwanese and she went to Taiwan and got married the beginning of this year and she’s still on her honeymoon. Due to lockdowns, the hair salons were close down. They were allowed to open again only last week but there’s an impending lockdown again. Doesn’t match with my schedule too.

@toniganzon Everything reopened here, but it took me 14 months to visit my hairdresser. I’ve been going to him for over 25 years.

I know most of the salons and barbershops from around my place are closed. Good thing I was able to have my hair cut before everything got lockdown again. Now my hair is a bit longer and needs to get a haircut again anytime soon. Just waiting for their opening once again.

@toniganzon I do not know but with the latest issuance of ecq protocols in my place it seems that salons/barbershops are not yet allowed to operate still. :(

I always had the Diana style hair cut and I normally get home service. I have not asked them over for almost a year and now my hair has grown shoulder length I have decided to keep it that way

Oh i do more than just that. I have my foot massage, my nails done. When they shampoo my hair i like to do it comfortably in their shampoo seat with a massage. I get hair treatment. You don’t get that at all? @allknowing

I don't want a short haircut either. Maybe just a trim and a color. I easily get bored with the same hairstyle but with the pandemic, I got no choice.

I look better in all hairstyles actually so i have no worry with that. I have changed my hairstyles too many times too often.

The thing is, you are beautiful with your hair long and with your hair short. Not many women can pull that off. They either look good one way or the other, but seldom both.
And most important is, what makes you happy? Long hair or short hair? Because the bottom line is that you have to feel comfortable with whatever hair style you choose.

I actually change my hairstyle every 6 moths or so pre-pandemic days. I couldn’t stand the same hairstyle for too long. But well, the lockdown happened and I just became lazy to go out and set an appointment. And then my stylist went to Taiwan to get married and she’s still in her honeymoon.
