Starting the Challenge Today

The weight loss/Keto challenge that I mentioned the other day that is. I am making a few modifications, but otherwise am going to stick to it. Well, except for Friday if we do go shopping. Today (and every Wednesday) is a protein sparing modified fasting day. In the challenge they say no dairy, but I am going to allow a little (trying not to go over the fat limit). On PSMF days the macros are supposed to be no more than 10 total carbs, 30 grams of fat and then the rest in protein. Tomorrow (and every Thursday) will be a regular eating, but also a 16 hour fast. Just means if I stop eating at 8 tonight I can eat by noon tomorrow. Dairy is allowed on these days, but like I said I am not giving it up anyways....just cutting back a bit on the other days. Fridays are another PSMF day. Saturdays are a refuel your body day; IF I have a cheat day I would probably have it on this day. I will try to stay Keto most Saturdays though. If we do go shopping Friday and I have a cheat day, I'll just have PSMF day Saturday instead maybe. Sundays are carnivore days - this is one day that I may try to actually stick to no dairy. This day we just eat meat and eggs, pretty much. Then, Mondays are PSMF days again. Finally, Tuesdays are 18 hour fasts. If I can't do that I will try to at least do 16. On fasting days, I may work out in the morning so I keep busy while waiting to eat. As for today - I have had a sandwich with protein sparing bread - the bread has a lot of protein, no fat, and a very small amount of carbs. On it I did have a bit of mayo and cheese with some deli turkey. For one meal I will probably have salmon. Not sure about my last meal. Maybe I will have a Keto Chow shake with only a small amount of fat (fat is needed for the vitamins/minerals). What do you all think of that? Friday

I sure hope....I know the really difficult months are coming up so if I don't do it now I may not til next year.

I wish you the best of luck, but I also don't think diets that suggest starving yourself are very smart.
