I had promised never to buy spinach online again. / myLot

But I fell for it. And just now I had to wash every single leaf, pick every single stem that was too old to be eaten and mutter every single bad word in Spanish I know (quite a few). The spinach are cooking. I washed them but did not sanitize them as the package said. I suppose that boiling them will be more than enough. I´ll make some spinach a la creme with a boiled potato on the side. If it is too much, I´ll leave some for a spinach-leek soup. I have not had lunch (over 2:30 pm) nor have I showered. i want to be rich and have several maids and footmen to serve me. I suppose I got this Idea after watching yesterday a couple of chapters of Downton Abbey. See you later, friends. If I can

I'm also very lazy in washing spinach, but I learned my lesson. One time, I bought a pack of spinach which is supposed to be wash but unfortunately it wasn't and there's a bug on it.

I love spinach, Had the same problem could not get decent fresh spinach and resort to Popeye spinach in cans but very tasty anyway mushy or not, When I have fresh spinach and make soup I just pop the spinach in hot soup for a short while.
