Must be “S” day in the countdown world! My Neil Sedaka song was a one-word song starting with “S,” and here we have the legendary Rolling Stones popping up with a one-word song starting with “S.” Sing along. #3: Shattered You know, I don’t think the New York City Chamber of Commerce would choose this tune as a song to encourage tourism. I don’t know, though, maybe some people might go just to see if there really are “people dressed in plastic bags directing traffic.” Nothing flattering here, just a look at the gritty side of life. Oh, and a little Yiddish: “schmatte” (“all this chitter-chatter….about schmatte, schmatte, schmatte”).
