I found out why I can't eat mushrooms

I finally figured out why I can't eat mushrooms. It isn't just because i don't like them. All mushrooms are derived from mold. I'm allergic to mold and always have been. That's one of the reasons I'm allergic to penicillin.

Mushrooms aren't mold. Mushrooms are a fungus. Mushrooms MIGHT have mold on them, though... that's why you wash them before you cook them.
I'm allergic to mold but have no problems eating mushrooms. I LOVE eating mushrooms!
