Suspicious thing

Today a woman sent a message via whatsapp saying that I could earn $10,000 a month and didn't need to invest anything. I was particularly curious and asked for information about what I had to do and about the company. She said that the company was in more than 20 countries, which has been in the market for over 25 years. The woman sent an audio with almost 4 minutes saying many things but the name of the company I wanted to know was not spoken. I said that I make investments in some companies, but in all of them I had information before putting my money. She said: Great! This is another opportunity you won't want to miss, I'm pretty sure. I spoke: If you provide the name of the company, I will research and analyze whether I will invest or not. She said that I had to attend a lecture... I said I didn't have time to do these things. Have you ever received any proposal for any type of investment that was fake?

Yes, I have had that. I'm not interested in investing anyway but if I was then I wouldn't trust anyone who wasn't upfront. If someone's had a long day, I can forgive them for not introducing themselves at the beginning of the conversation (it's something I've done myself when calling people for my work) but anyone who won't even give you the name of the company (or any relevant information) when asked, that's most definitely a scam.

Yep. I shut down the conversation and block the person as soon as I relize what's happening.

There are a lot of offers like that but I really don`t mind that kind of offer. They are fake and will let you invest after you hear them lecture about their product. I have a friend who experienced this and after paying for the products the item was not delivered to her and the person who invited her blocked her out from facebook where they communicate and even on her mobile

Yes, I have. The internet is full of warnings concerning such shady businesses. You can try this: post the text of the message on the net. If you're lucky, you'll find it because such letters are sent to many people. And maybe you'll also find what other people have to say about this scheme. If so, drop me a line and tell me about it!

Some investment scheme lets you attend a lecture like most timeshare concept. They won't disclose the company because they don't want you to know what they are offering. Main purpose is to let you attend a lecture with all the presentation and persuasion until you will be lured at investing in the company.
