earned by playing piano

one girl needed help with her music classes in college, so she asked me to help her.
and i did - it wasn't much work, but still it took some time to take a look at the songs and everything. she said that she will pay as much as i want - but i didn't want to take too much.
and then my dad was like "knowing you - you'll do it for free, but people will never respect your skills that way" so i decided to ask for 50KM which is 30,35 USD.
i think that's a reasonable price for the time that 10 songs took me. what do you think?
now i'm searching for piano playing jobs online, hoping i'll find something. do you know some sites where i can use my piano playing skills to earn money?

@cacay1 piano classes aren't really common here and this was different from regular class where you teach students to play.

yesterday, while looking for piano playing jobs, it's 25$-30$ or more for one class, i think that's alright.

wow good for you dear and maybe it is ok because teaching and teaching music has the highest value of salary..
Maybe you can search on internet where you can teach piano online..

i think so too. she said it herself "i couldn't find anybody else to do it", so i guess it was a reasonable price.

No idea about the sites...glad you helped her..but of course ..you should charge atleast minimum ..
