Good day to you all, Can’t believe it has been 20 years ago that what we all know as 9/11 happened. Look how far we have come. I can remember that day so clearly, I couldn’t believe it, I just sat there looking at my TV in really a bit of shock. I remember being numbed by it, being sad and being pissed off. I couldn’t pull myself from the TV. I remember stepping outside for a smoke at one point and at the time I lived where planes when over the house like all the time and it was weird that I never paid no attention to them but when they were not going over head it really stood out. I was like oh my god it is so quiet out here. I remember the days following the country really pulled together, people were nice to each other. People held doors for each other, said hello to strangers. It didn’t matter what we looked like it didn’t matter what side of politics you were on, we were Americans. Someone attacked us and that was not going to stand, we were not going to let someone pull us down and scare us into hiding. We were not going to let someone take our freedoms away, break us down and apart. We were ready to fight for our way of life no matter the risk. Sadly look at us 20 years later.
