The Law Of Life

I just came across ?the following wisdom:
"The law of life is this: all things good and evil are constructed from an image held in mind".

What do you think about this? Are we really 100% responsible for creating our reality?
I believe so, the only thing that bothers me too much is the delay in realization.

I think that to a certain extent, yes we can influence our reality.
But in the end, we truly have no control on what happens.
This is how I think.
