Yesterday's weather in review 9-11

it is always an emotional day. 20 years ago I was traveling, and that moment when the world exploded, I was not home.
my poor wife had to deal with her own terror, by herself.
I did get home late in the day, September 11, 2001, it was a Monday.
needless to say, I didn't notice the weather yesterday

Beautiful weekend.
I was at school that awful day teaching. My son was in NYC training on IBM computers for his law firm. Began his career the day before and saw the first jet crash into the first building. My DIL left the WTC 15 minutes before.

@DianneN one of my best friends worked in the WTC for 5 years. He had left the job and gone to another company in August. he lost so many friends. I always call him on the 11th of September, to let him know he is valued.
it is a horrible day. For your family, I am sure it is even more personal.

that is awful. i remember being in NYC (we stayed in the Marriott that used to be right by the WTC) we were there about 4 months before and roughly a year after. (then 5 years after again). it was so devastating.
One of the people I loved working with was in the restaurant that morning, he didn't make it out of the tower.

i lost two friends that worked in the tower that day. i also, heard fear in my wife's voice (I was away from home when it happened) that I have only heard one other time.

Absolutely stunning weather yesterday.
I was at work when someone from another department came in and said a plane had hit the World Trade Center. She came back in about 15 minutes later and said another plane had hit the other tower. That’s where I was when the world stopped turning.
