A cat story from Miami Florida

I have heard stories of cats running on baseball diamonds in the past before someone inside of the stadium like an authority figure gets the cat off of the field and into a safe place. However this cat story touches my heart since I have gotten used to enjoying the friendship of my cats that belong to my relatives at home. On Saturday evening at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Florida, a male cat that entered the stadium was hanging on for dear life in the upper deck of the football stadium during a college football game between the University of Miami versus Appalachian State University when the cat whose gender was not revealed fell down to the next lower levels when fans who attended the football game used their wits to use an American flag to catch the falling cat from either dying or being seriously injured from the impact of the fall. Thanks to the alert actions of the fans who attended the college football game, the cat did not suffer any injuries after the American flag broke the fall of the cat. The irony is that the incident took place on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on our nation. The actions of the fans who saved the cat from falling to his or her death show me how great a nation we are in terms of helping one another.
