Swiss roll

One needs practice to roll out a Swiss roll. Simple as it may soud - sponge cake with some whipped cream or chocolate spread, rolled and cut into slices.
Precision is the name of the game. The sponge cake must have the right consistency and thickness. The roll will break if the consistency or thickness is not right I have yet to master the art.
How good are you?

That looks like a pumpkin roll.. I used to make those for friends and family at Christmas, years ago... You're right, if you get anything wrong, it doesn't turn out right. It can still be eaten but won't be pretty enough to give to family and friends.

@allknowing It's a Christmas roll made using pumpkin in the sponge cake mix with cream cheese inside the roll. I'm not crazy about pumpkin but my family is...
Yes, if it's not pretty, then I've failed.

@allknowing Pumpkin can be frozen and used at Thanksgiving and Christmas, if people wanted to use them for something other than Halloween decorations... but most don't care.

@allknowing True but I would never get it to come out. And $5 is cheap for one that is made at the bakery.
