Well, *that* didn't quite work out...

Oi...I am hearing my friend saying, "Some days are like that" in my head. Today was certainly like "something" so far... I went to the Health Center, and went to the lab first (because supposedly I was supposed to have lab work). I was told "Yes, you have a test to turn in." (for colon cancer). I had turned that test last Friday. I went over to the pharmacy and thankfully, the medication I'd ordered was actually there. I don't remember if it was on the bus going to the Health Center or what, but I realized that I'd forgotten the credit card that I was planning on using at the post office and the grocery store, I had forgotten the package (envelope) I was going to send at the post office ! I was going to go straight home, then, and right before the bus came, I couldn't find my Clipper (bus fare payment) card. While I was digging in my bag for it, my phone rang, and it was my boss from the first child care center where I work, saying that a number she had given me should have been good enough to transfer some information I didn't think I had to the new preschool where I'll be substituting. Thankfully, as I was getting off the phone with her, the bus was pulling up and I found my Clipper (bus fare payment) card. I just wasn't able to get my package sent or my groceries bought. Possibly tomorrow I'll get that stuff done. I had to remind myself of the Bible verse, "All things work together for good..." LOL--I hope that everything is working out for you in your part of myLot land !
