Unity Grove Elementary School custodian Chris Jackson who is not to be confused to former National Basketball Association (NBA) basketball player who changed his name to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf is living proof of the saying "Good deeds will be rewarded in due time." received a nice gift from his employer in Locust Grove Georgia last month.
Two teachers who saw that Chris had to walk to his work worked together to start a fundraiser in August to give Chris an auto for him to come to work.
Thanks to the efforts of the fundraising, Unity Grove Elementary principal Anne Wilson who has gained a reputation at the school that she is willing to assist any employee who works at the school that their needs will be met.
Jodi Combs and Megan MacDonald led the fundraising to get Chris an auto when of Megan's friends was selling her Chevy Impala
The fundraising effort reached around $1,000 dollars. However thanks to the efforts of the Unity Grove Elementary staff to lend a helping hand so they could raise an additional $1,000 dollars for Chris to have a used auto for him to take him to work.
The reaction of Chris receiving his auto was priceless. To make the story even sweeter, a member of the community was able to buy Chris auto insurance for one whole year since he has the title for the auto and tag.
What I like about the story is that Anne Wilson who has been the principal at Unity Grove Elementary School is that she would do any of her employees what she has in her power to assist anyone of them who needs her help in times of need.

My pleasure to share the good news of our world to offset all of the bad news the media likes to bombard us with.
