Saved on toilet paper

I usually buy Quilted Northern toilet paper at Target as it's cheaper there than at my local supermarket. 18-mega roll pack costs $17.49 (+tax). I was at Target recently, but it was not there. And it didn't come up in the search on their website either. We found one 18-mega roll pack at the supermarket on sale for $18.49 so got that.
I tried looking at Amazon. There it's being sold at $14.99 (+ tax) for the same pack, which is much cheaper than the Target price. First it said "coming soon" so I did not buy it. Checked just now and it says "ships within 6-10 days." Decided to get it. Had to get two to qualify for free shipping. That's okay though as we always need toilet paper. Also got $1.04 off with Capital One Rewards. Total came out to $31.60. Great deal I think.

Smart move! Always need toilet paper. I got an in store special, 6 pack usually 3.99 going for 3.50. Riding the bus, only had room for one 6 pack package. Last night news says this year, things way slower to manufacture - ship, so start buying Christmas presents now.

So true! But, Senior Citizen bus pass, so I can catch bus often, is all I must do.

@lovebuglena You are right but you cant help their delivery times..I wish things could come sooner but I guess we are lucky to get anything at all.

@RebeccasFarm I could've gotten it sooner if I opted to pay for shipping or gotten a free trial of Amazon Prime. Didn't want to do either.

I could do much better lol. It said the estimated delivery date is Oct 2 - 4. Would be nice if it came earlier. Good thing we have toilet paper right now.

With this Amazon order plus what we got at the supermarket we will have 54 toiler paper rolls. We have a few left aside from that as well.

I don't shop on Amazon often. Usually either if I am buying books (if cheaper than Barnes and Noble) or for necessities like toilet paper, bounty, etc. if cheaper there.
