Do We Need to Re-Educate Our Legislators on "What MONEY Is"?

where do THEY think it goes?

I was watching last week's MEET THE PRESS, where Chuck Todd had Senator Manchin (and yes, it's spelled "MAN-CHIN" ) on there talking about 'the amount of money an upcoming bill was going to "cost"' ... ... es-SQUEEZE ME?? a-baking POWDER? What do they think HAPPENS to money they spend on American labor or 'whatever else "infrastructure"-money goes to'? Do they think the workers & businessmen take it to the bank and cash it & throw all the money into a dumpster-fire? Because THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENS. No matter how much money Pelosi and Man-Chin and everybody send to the businesses & workers, IT ALL ENRICHES AMERICAN ECONOMY! Because money (put on your 'Economics 101'-caps, kids) is an extension of The Barter System---most people give 'their time' to their employer, in exchange for 'an agreed-upon amount of currency'; they then take the currency, and trade it to employees elsewhere for the products-&-services they spend their time providing; then they take the currency their employer gives them, and spend it on the same, etc.-etc. Why do our legislators not understand that?

Although I DID hear them say something about how 'excessive spending' can drive up inflation.
