Good morning, Last night I sat down to watch this movie call Wind River that is out on Netflix right now. It was released in 2017 but I never heard of it or seen it before. I thought I would give it a look and see if I liked it. I like it right away. It stars Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen and Jon Dernthal. It is rated R due to violence, rape scene, and language so be warned about that. It an hour and 46 minutes long so really not to long. A tracker with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service assists a rookie FBI agent who’s investigation a teen girl’s murder on a remote Wyoming reservation. It is based on a true story and caught my interest right away. There were a few parts I thought the acting could have been a little better but overall, still good. If you’re not too shy about the R rating, I would suggest this movie if you have access to it. Today I am going to take a look at the movie Kill the Messenger. I will let you know what I think about it later when I finish watching it.

Years ago I dated this girl who had been raped as a teen. I didn't know it at the time, as it was a dark memory that she had long buried in her mind and never spoke to anyone about. I can't remember the name of it now, but we went to see a horror movie one night that had a very vivid and graphic rape scene in it. It disturbed her so much that she started throwing up in the theater, and we had to leave. It was horrible what she had to go through in re-living that awful experience. Of course, I didn't know what was going on, but she finally opened up about what happened to her in the past, and it ended up being a blessing in disguise because it helped her realize she needed to go to counseling to help her heal.

Yeah, there are some sick people out there and they should be hung in the streets. I didn't want to put that in the post just cause I know it is bad subject to bring up but I rather it be here and someone avoid the movie that to watch it and then find out.

@Bensen32 Rape is a very sensitive and emotional subject. But I agree that people find out sooner rather than later what is contained in a movie.

@moffittjc Yeah, exactly. I understand it will effect everyone different but I would rather put it out there before they watch it. Think it is easier to read it here that there is a scene in the movie than have them surprised during the movie.
