MyLot - A great place to learn new things.

when I re-joined MyLot I expected to meet some old friends, which I have. Enjoy some of the discussions, which I have. Make a little money - a little later perhaps.
What I have discovered has exceeded my expectations.
I have learned so many new things from fellow My Lotters. Take this week alone. I have learned about the Indonesian Tapir. I have acquired a new jam recipe. I know now that a tuxedo may be a description of a black and white cat. I have a bread recipe to try out.
Most of all I have read some heartwarming stories. We have needed some stories about the goodness in people. The media presents only the bad and sad. Here we have a chance to share and care with strangers who become friends. Thank you, it has been a good week.

There is one problem for me and this is that MyLot is a little addictive. Once I come on I am here for too long. I forget the time.

I have reconnected with old friends and also made some new ones. It is possible to have a wider variety of friends here than we can have on a face to face basis.

That's true! There are a lot of nice stories around here I enjoy learning about other cultures and people :)

It is a great way to learn about other cultures. Also people are happy to answer such questions in a freer way and we do not have to worry anyone being offended.

Its such a great experience for me to discuss many things with various friend using english since english is not my first language.
