A missing dog returns to his owner nearly a year later.

West Palm Beach resident Lisa Raulsen is one happy dog owner who is grateful that after 331 days apart, her pet dog Sparky who is 16 years of age in human terms reunited with his owner thanks to the Sunshine State Westie Rescue who placed the image of Sparky on their Facebook page. Lisa mentioned that she was fearful that Sparky had died shortly after he fled through an open gate that was left open by accident in her cottage in West Palm Beach in October 2020. Lisa and her daughter placed flyers around her neighborhood hoping that someone would return her lost pet who is hard of hearing due to his age of 15 years. What happened to Sparky according to the rescue group was that Sparky was living in an animal shelter ready to be to sleep when he was saved. Sparky was picked up last weekend at the rescue group home by Lisa who is very happy to reunite with her lost pet that means the world to her since her husband died 11 years ago.
