Valentine's day

Yesterday was "Valentine's Day" in my country, I decided to go out with my mother to walk through an area of my country and I have discovered that there are a large number of parks and sports complexes that are very close, now I think I am interested in doing more sport.
Also, I really appreciate spending time with my mom, she is definitely my best company.
Are there many spaces for sports near your home?

We have a not so old leisure centre 800 yards away from where we live.
It has sat empty for the last 5 years.
What a waste of a building
They closed it when they built a new school campus witheisure centre included and nobody has put the old one to use.
It could sit empty for a long time and the vandals will destroy it leaving a mess and a huge repair bill for the council to fix it
