Getting credit card offers I've no need for

Just got an offer from my Capital One credit card for 0% on existing and new purchases for nine months. I don't know why the heck they sent this to me when I have never kept a balance on my credit since I got it. I always pay my balance in full. Also, I don't plan on buying anything I can't afford or won't be able to pay for when my statement comes. I have no need for this offer. At least this was emailed to me instead of being sent in the mail. They saved some paper for a change. Besides this offer, I am also getting emails to upgrade my Quicksilver credit card to a Venture credit card. Quicksilver gives me cash back, while Venture would give me miles. I hardly travel, especially these days. I'd rather get cash back than earn miles that I won't really use. So thank you for the offer but I decline.

I get flooded with credit card offers. I don't even bother to read them anymore. They go straight to the recycling bin. I've got all the credit cards I want right now.

@lovebuglena I have 5 total, for various different reasons. I only actively use 4 of them.

@moffittjc Wow! That's a lot of cards. Very easy for a person to over spend a lot but I am sure you are not doing that.

I have one and that's plenty for me. Well, technically I also have a Macy's credit card but that's only for Macy's and I don't remember the last time I used it. Hubby now has three. I hope he won't open anymore. The Capital One card I sort of encouraged him to open as it gives him 1.5% cash back (his other card don't give cash back) and he was thinking of transferring a balance anyway.

Many places (Banks and big shops) offer me credit cards once in a while. I have one and it is enough for me. I use it when I travel and also here so I don´t have too much cash around. I pay it in full every month.

I have only one major credit card. I see no need to have more than that. My credit limit is only $5800 but that is more than enough for me. I don't spend anywhere near that much anyway.

@lovebuglena Same here. And the Bank has offered to give me a bigger credit but I don´t need it. In fact I never spend all of it but find it good to have it should a special medical situation arise.

@marguicha It is definitely nice to have a high credit limit just in case.

I get those all the time, and although some are extremely tempting so far I haven't succumbed. I don't want or need any other cards, but the offers keep getting better and better1

I hate it when I get the same offer over and over and over again. I am clearly not interested if I don't sign up. And yet they keep sending it. Such a waste of paper.

We get those all the time. My husband will read some of them to me and we get a good laugh out of it.

I get excited when I see credit card offers, especially when I'm approved! It's become an obsession to apply for them all

They can be exciting but then you read the fine print and they are not that exciting anymore.

Maybe that is a good thing. Unless you really need one.

The funny thing is they send you a credit card offer in the mail and you do not respond but they keep sending you the same offer over and over. I guess they think eventually you will just sign up.
