Yesterday was a wild day. We had planned on getting groceries and I had a video conference with one of my doctors and that was all that was on the calendar. But things went a little crazy and got out of hand quickly.
After we had our brunch today, we were relaxing and watching television and I was on my laptop. I was scrolling through Facebook and came to a post to where I saw that one of my husband's friends had passed away this past Sunday. I dad seen a post Sunday night that mentioned a death in the family but it wasn't noted who passed away. For that matter I wasn't even sure if it was in their family.
I then decided to make sure I had the program downloaded on my phone for my video conference appointment with my doctor. Nope. So I get my cell phone out and look for the app. I couldn't find it. Finally my husband tells me that you have to download this one first and then get the other. It leads you to the one you are looking for. Ahhh. Well my phone was out of service. Great! I got on my laptop to pay the bill and put in a new credit card number. I had to have a card re-issured last month because it had been misplaced. So they needed new billing information. I entered it and hit the button to send. An hour later my phone is still not working. In the meantime, I sent a message to the nurse and asked if I could do the call on my laptop. She told me that I could but the only browser I could use was Chrome. No problem, I had that. I don't like it much, but I have it. So I'm finally all set with that. I went in and paid my co-pay while my hubby went to town to pick up layer pellets for the chickens.
He also called the phone company to see why my phone hadn't been turned on. They had my new card number but told him that it was not entered for payment. I don't know if the wi-fi had a fart or someone was lazy on their end but that problem got taken care of also.
When my video call was over, we headed on to the grocery store, Dollar Tree, Harbor Freight and a stop at Arby's for dinner. I didn't get finished putting up groceries until after 10 pm. It was a long day!!

Right now all the groceries are put up or as put up as they are going to get! I packed the essentials we will take with us on our trip for the kitchen and have been chilling for a couple of hours now. Getting ready for bed now. See you later today!!

@DaddyEvil I slept in and got up around noon. That gave me almost 8 hours of sleep. I'm good. It is beautiful outside so will tackles some more of the picking up sticks and limbs. Hub tried to mow and I told him to stop. He just had the blades sharpened on the mower and no use in undoing that by hitting all these limbs and branches. Some are bigger than two inches so he doesn't need to be chopping wood with the mower.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, but first appointments for the tests are in November and I had to do last week because of other obligations (trip, and working at Girl Boss). Oh well, it is scheduled!!

This was just a refreshere and to make sure nothing has changed since my visit last year and a half ago to schedule these tests which were postponed because of Covid. And now the insurance is calling for dr. visit before tests..such a bad rap and coop they have going. So in this case I would rather the video chat vs. driving to Baton Rouge for a 10 min dr. visit.

One thing after the other. And this is why "Tuesday" is a bad word in this house haha Tuesdays always seem to be such a perplexing, things go wrong, always. At least it's over and I hope your Wednesday is a lot better!

sorry about your husband's friend.
You did your Telemedicine call on your phone. I always use my laptop, easier to focus. How did the call go?

@kareng ah, yeah I usually do them on my laptop. My doctor is always late, so telemedicine means I can get an extra 20, 30 minutes of work in!
