The sky was rumbling at around 4 this afternoon. Sun still out but the air suddenly turned cool. Knew it was gonna rain. Just didn’t expect it to be a heavy thunder storm. Too strong that the power got cut off. Power outage. Heavy rain fall. Thunder and lightning. Danie had to run to my lap. She’s scared of the loud noise coming from the sky. Yuki not much. Power came back at 6pm and the weather has now calmed down.

Power supply usually cut off if the rain and wind are strong. Good that it's back before the dark.

Sounds like our daily thunderstorms during the summer here where I live, minus the power outages. I've rarely had any power outages, even during hurricanes. Glad to hear that the power eventually came back on for you and that the storm finally calmed down.

It's a rare occurrence in this city too. I'm just glad they were quick to fix the issue and we had our power back.

@moffittjc right. That’s why in my weekend home we have a generator coz power would be out there for 12 hours quite often.

yes I am glad it didn't last long too. It doesn't usually happen to us here even with typhoons.

@DianneN in this home we don't coz we hardly get power outages but in our Weekend home, we have it there coz of the frequent power outage. Sometimes there would be power outage for 12 hours there and we just couldn't live without electricity. Good thing we have a generator that could power up a whole village.

@toniganzon We have a generator. It’s very necessary here when we lose power. We have a well and without power, the toilets can’t be flushed
