Early to bed and early to rise....

Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
My mom used to sing that to me before I sleep. Oh I miss those days when I was just a kid and my mom would hug me to sleep. Nothing is more comforting than that.
I slept early last night and my son went to my room before I finally dose off. He stayed with me and gave me that hug my mother used to give. And of course Danie and Yuki was there next to me too. For some reason my son and my fur babies knew just what I needed.
So I woke up before 6am this morning coz I had an early night and a really good one too.

It's going to be a day I'd spend with my fur babies. I have 6 and today is the day I bathe all of them. Four puppies this morning and then the two adults later in the afternoon.

@Juliaacv What an obedient dog! My fur babies love to bathe as well. But it's a lot of hardwork coz towel drying doesn't work for them. I need to blow dry them. For my adult dogs, it would usually take almost two hours for the total grooming.

@toniganzon I used to love to bathe our dog, she was so good.
All I had to do was to ask her if she wanted a bubble tub and she would go there and wait for me to draw the water and put in the bubble bath. Afterwards I would have a big towel lying out on the floor and she would stretch out on it and lick herself and she never ever did the wet doggie shake.

I really did. He hardly do that to me anymore. I understand coz he's a teenager but grateful that he does it to me once in awhile.

My mom don't hug me before I sleep but I always hug her in the day. You surely have a good night sleep all night

If I go to bed too early I can't sleep. Tomorrow will be an early morning though so I should consider an early night. I tend to be a night owl rather than the early bird.

When i was young i used to wake up at 8 or 9 and i go to bed at 8 in the evening. Now i can’t wake up that late. @MarshaMusselman

@toniganzon I'm getting up earlier than I used to but mostly because I take a crew out to clean windows before my other job and I have to be ready for them by ten am.

The problem with me is when I sleep early I have a tendency to be awake after 5 hours and it's hard to go back to sleep.

We had this book containing nursery rhymes and quotes. My mom would sing this to me in a beautiful tune.
