Saturday September 11th, 2021 of all days is when it started. September the 24th they would go on and sweep the Tiny Bears in a double header or make up game. They had to play a double game day. Its a trap. Its hard to win two in a roll in one day, when they make you play double. Did not matter, the team just kept rolling and what is neat is everyone is contributing. Its not one or two guys, its whole team. Why they are rolling I guess. They tied the Gas House Gang. The legendary Cardinal Team of 1930's that could out duel Babe Ruth himself. 14 in a roll, going for 15 tomorrow against the tiny Bears. Our long time nemesis is now pitching for us against his old Tiny bears. Should be fun even if the streak ends there. I do want one more and a playoff birth. One more will mean the 2021 St.Louis Cardinals will have the longest winning streak in their franchise history over The Gas House Gang who could take down Babe Ruth. 86 year old record needs to be broken, because think Hot dogs and Beer home run hitting machine Babe Ruth would struggle against these flame throwers of today. Why this run again is so neat, hard to put this kind of run together with the amount of competition. Not just a run, but fighting to stay alive. These guys looked dead in the water two weeks ago. It must be like baseball heaven for these guys. 2 weeks of no losing and looks like they going to get that playoff spot. Can you imagine nothing going wrong in your life for 2 weeks straight. Its never happened to me.
