The House Across The Street

Houses are selling in mere days where I live. I really don't understand what is going on? One house down the street when in LESS than a week and yesterday there was a couple who visited yet another house MINUTES after it went up for sale. I'm not kidding! And, they stayed about half an hour! When we bought this house, we saw 5 houses in one day and we chose this one... I think that we were in and out in less than 10 minutes for each house. I either liked it or I didn't! But a half hour? Then again, we were moving from Manitoba and we were in a rush. But back to the house house that I'm referring to . Why do I know all the particulars? It's because the room where I work looks right out onto their driveway . They were really good neighbours and I'm really going to miss them! :( But now I'm really curious to see how long it takes to sell it!! So, how are house sales going where you live??

Selling in days here. The prices are up and not enough available it seems. A seller's market for sure.

I would have thought that people would just want to sit back and put all of this behind us for a while.

@Hate2Iron Nashville is growing so fast it is creating the higher prices. All about supply and demand.

Pretty quickly, it is still a sellers market..but it might be changing. Now, the people next door had their house on the market but took it off, not sure what happened there.

Now that is interesting. We have been here nearly 3 years now and I can't believe the people who have come and gone. We aren't the new people any more!

Houses in my town do not sell fast. The town offers very little and mostly the houses are old and not up to date. On the other hand, they go for bargain prices.

I don't know what to think about what is happening in our town. I have never seen anything like it!

Here they post coming soon signs so that people have their offers in as soon as the house is listed on the market and it is sold usually that same day.

Overall, I don't know. But a friend has had her mother's condo for sale for a few months.

In my neighborhood, all the houses are occupied. So i don’t see any selling happening here at all.

Oh yeah the houses are selling like hot cakes here. And the prices are through the roof. You wont get much under $350,000 around here.

Houses are selling like hotcakes all around the US. We should get our rental up for sale before the weather changes!! I hope you will like your new neighbors.
