Good day to you all. Just another day here although I was reading about what is happening in Australia. Now I will say this, I do not live there and can only go off what I read/hear on the news. How much of it is true or not I guess I really don’t know for sure since I do not live there. I am reading that in places like New South Wales and Victoria people are being locked down inside their homes and monitored by police. I hear that those that try to protest this are fined, imprisoned or physically attacked by law enforcement. I also read that one of their Chief Health Officer’s is claiming that things will never get back to pre-Covid normal. This sounds like tyranny to me, and I wonder how much longer it is going to be before we see the USA following in these footsteps. Look at Washington D.C. for one. They have had less than 10 Covid deaths in the last few months yet they are still requiring all people to wear facemask indoors. At what point to we start fighting back against this? Do we just let them keep making up the rules as they see fit? How is it that we just keep letting them do whatever they want, and we follow along without question? Is this really the way you want to live out the rest of your life, locked away in your homes. I would rather take my chances living that hiding away with a mask on cause I might get sick.

It's sad because I always wanted to travel to Australia. It was on my bucket list. But, now I would not to visit. And I am praying it doesn't it doesn't happen here.

I feel the exact same way. And, to date, I have never worn a mask. I do know, that none of this is about your health. Otherwise this would not be happening. Locking people down causes more illness, then it prevents. Now I won't debate how real the virus is, but I fail to understand why the world wants us to be afraid of dying from it.

I rarely wear one and I work in a place that has lots of random people come into it and I would guess about 90% are not wearing a mask so I really don't see the point of it. Yeah, I am unsure of the reasoning behind all of it but there has to be something they are trying to do and it's not just watch out for our health.

Covid will be here for a long time. We just need to adapt

Yeah, and wearing mask, taking weird vaccines and locking myself in the house is not adapting to me.

I saw the story and videos of people being arrested and attacked for being right outside their door smoking or eating with no mask. I have a friend that lives close by but it is not this bad in her area, not yet anyway. Somebody needs to take a stand and soon.
