Hi from the road! I don’t know how far I’ll go because of the explicit deleted children we elect to congress, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. Speaking of bridges, here’s another song with “bridge” in the title. #7: Misty Morning Albert Bridge - Pogues I know the Pogues aren’t very popular in the U.S. Shane MacGowan is probably why. I’ll be the first to admit he’s not the greatest singer on the planet. Plus those teeth. But dang the Pogues were a fun band to listen to. Described as “Celtic punk,” they combined traditional Irish music and a really nasty attitude (“You sc*mbag you maggot” in “Fairytale of New York”) for some terrific music. I know this may be difficult to listen to because of MacGowan’s sneering vocals, but in actuality it is a beautiful love song. There’s actually a video featuring members of the Pogues, including writer Jim Finer, doing the song remotely during the lockdown in 2020 that shows of the true depth of the song. But the Pogues would never have been the Pogues without Shane. Misty Morning Albert Bridge Written by Jim Finer Recorded by the Pogues From Peace and Love, 1989 Your eyes, blue as the ocean:
One of my all time fav songs. My first ever upload, hope its ok, added 1 of my fav honey's at the end, hh

"Fairytale of New York" is actually one of my favorite songs to play around Christmas... just not around the kids.

My favorite is Bridge Over Troubled Water I believe it was sung by Simon and Garfunkel but I'm not sure.

I'm glad I'm only betting on #`1 for this one. I don't think I would have guessed any of the ones so far.

@FourWalls You're right. I could listen to country if I HAD TO; but I will not listen to rap, heavy metal, etc.
