New Jersey teenager saves 3 men who were in a rip current

Kayla Smith who is a 16 year old female teen surfer was at the right place at the right time on Sunday in Bay Head on Sunday when she saw three young men struggling to stay afloat in the ocean due to a dangerous rip tide in the area. Kayla who has five years of surfing experience used her ability to surf to good use by surfing where the three men were struggling to swim to safety by telling the trio by balancing the board so she and the trio could return to the shore safe and sound. As fate would have it, Kayla would not have been there had her mother arrived earlier to pick her up and take her home at an earlier time. I like the way that Kayla used her surfing skills to good use by rescuing three strangers that would have likely drowned since there was no lifeguard at the beach at that time. Kayla is a real hero in my view of world events on Sunday when the rescue happened at Bay Head New Jersey.
