Joyful, Patient and Faithful.

Be joyful in hope,
Patient in affliction,
Faithful in prayer.
Romans 12:12
It's very easy to praise God when everything is going our way and everything is great, but the Lord wants us to praise Him and be faithful to Him no matter what is happening to us.
This can feel unnatural sometimes to praise God during the harshest times in our lives, but that's when He is with us the most; helping, soothing, calming, raining down His Grace. This is what happened when my husband died, for during that time He was my rock and my salvation. I praised Him then, and I praise Him now.
He is Good all the time even when we don't understand or can't conceive His plans for us.

That is a lovely photo, These days I always do my usual morning prayer and the Lords Prayer at night, However, in the morning as I look out the window and say my morning prayer I have 3 kittens behind me meowing and since I have already provided them with breakfast I wonder if they are praying with me, They are such delightful little balls of fluff,

They told us back in Vacation Bible School when we were kids that God isn't supposed to be your fire engine, but is there to talk to all the time, and we should thank and praise him for that.

When i was younger i admit that i do tend to neglect praising him when I’m in a depressed state. But that has changed.

When I read your line,
"He is Good all the time even when we don't understand or can't conceive His plans for us."
I first read it as,
"He is God all the time even when we don't understand or can't conceive His plans for us."
Yes, God never stops being himself, God, for us, and he is also always good all the time too.

The world is acting crazy right now, that's for sure. I'm so glad that God is with me or I would feel really lost right now.
