Here we call this a puncher. This along with a tape dispenser, stapler, pencil sharpener and scissors were used regularly at home and at work. When it comes to filing hard copies of important documents, we now buy the hard plastic cases.

No matter how advanced the digital world is seen to go, physical copies are always necessary and so whatever you have mentioned I have with me.

What I've noticed it digital is more prone to be altered/tampered.

@merrybelle2021 That is why all legal documents are not only physical but some are handwritten.

@merrybelle2021 this past two years, never touched it. But with kids in school, it is important to have this for their reports

We don't use it here anymore but I remember having a three-hole puncher at my previous work. I used to file all paperwork, logs my agents' coaching form, advisories, memos and corrective actions. Now, it is being done online.

I remember the paper tends to tear in three-ring binders.

I saw my hole puncher in the garage the other day. I used it a lot when my kids were in school.

Punchers also meant you had supplies of folders and fasteners

Yes, I do. My daughter loves punching holes in paper that she thinks as an art paper. She likes messing around with this one.
