I peeled some very small potatoes.

And they are boiling in the soup. The chicken is almost done and so is the carrot and the leek.
I discovered much to my horror that this was my last carrot. So it seems that I will have to start yet another grocery list.
Carrots are one of the few veggies that the shoppers bring here in good condition. And I might even buy some oranges and make a carrot and orange jam. I love it because it is not too sweet.
It is about time to have lunch now. I´ll go check the potatoes. See you later

@marguicha I am sure it is. Here oranges are expensive. It would be expensive to make orange jam.

Oh yes I am always running out of carrots.
That jam sounds divine.

Why do you peel the small potatoes? I just wash them, cut out any bad spots and chunk them into the pot. The skins are good for you.

I don´t like the peel cooked in the broth. I do like them cooked in water or baked.
